Here is a pic of a pair of earrings i just finished tonight at my new workshop (yes i have finally moved in) still need to get a few things done like getting the toilet done, and the front of the workshop finished, but i'm getting there, I have also been working on a bracelet and a ring, so hopefully i will get these finished and pics taken tomorrow. Well just a quick post i'm now off to the land of nod, night all,x

Her is my gorgeous daughter Robyn, I went to see her ballet concert tonight, which was very good, She has already danced three night only another 2 to go, I think she looks very grown up in this pic, and she has only turned 12.

I'm getting there with my workshop, it is in Ormiston just 2 miles from where i stay, this is my hammering station. I'm still getting everything organised, I have three work benches build, and i have still to get my soldering station and my polishing station done, but hopefully it will be all done by the end of this week. I have also added a few older pieces of jewellery to my etsy shop, which i have reduced, so if you want why not pop over and have a look, I will be adding more pieces as i dont really make much pieces like that now. I am now going to get my daughter Robyn ready for her ballet concert, she is dancing % nights in total, this is her 2nd night, we are all going to watch the show tomorrow, which i'm looking forward to, they always put on a great show.

I made these earrings today along with a ring, that i have still to finish of. These are made from 0.6m sterling silver sheet, with some ball bezel strip, My new workshop is getting there slowly but surely, john has been lowering the celling and putting in all my new sockets, hopefully i will get the partition built this week where the toilet is going to go, then get all the work benches made. i will add some pics in the next few days, hope you have had a great wkend, at least the sun has been shining today as it has rained non stop now for days, and is making everyone feel miserable.

Happy dance again, look what came in the post today, i got my Durston micro rolling mill, Pepe jumpring maker, polisher, Foredom pendant drill, stake, torch, along with other bits that i need, can't wait to get it all set out in my new workshop.

 Finally got around to taking some more pictures of some new pieces, here is a few, The ring is made using sterling silver wire with resin in the centre, The jigsaw pendant is hand pierced using copper and brass sheet. The little spiral earrings at the bottom has 24ct gold leaf fused onto them using the ancient technique called Keum Boo. I have also just got the keys to my very own work shop, this is just a few miles from where I live, This is why i have been buying loads of tools, mind you i wasn't happy yesterday as i paid for a delivery to come and waiting all day and yes you have quested it didn't turn up so they better refund my money. I have taken a few pics of my new place and i will post the before and after pics as i have a bit of work to do to it before i finally move in. Hope everyone has had a great weekend, even though the weather is horrible it seems like winter here but whats new for Scotland.

Big happy smile on my face, here is some of my new tools that i got today from Rio grande, still waiting on two more deliveries from Otto Frei and Sutton tools. I got some silver which i have been needing for a while, along with textured plates, swanstorm disc cutters, new hammers and stone setting punches. I have been sharing bench space in Edinburgh for a year and a half which i have loved and met some other wonderful jewellers, but i have got myself a little place of my own, so this is why i'm buying loads of new tools that i will need for myself. I will keep you all posted with pics, as my new place need loads of work done, and hopefully i will add some pics of new jewellery some.
