This is what I have been doing today, making bezel settings, #jewellery #handmade #sterlingsilverjewellery, a photo by Eve smith, silvermeadows. on Flickr.
I have been quite quiet the past few weeks, but I did manage to get up to my workshop the other day, as Im still waiting on a order of silver sheet to come along with other silver, I decided to make all these bezel setting for all these lovely glass cabochons and stones. As you will agree these stones look lush. I love the glass cabochons, especially the blue bubble cabs, These have been made by Trudi Doherty from Glittering Prize, Not sure what i'm making all these pieces into, maybe a lovely big pendant for this poppy cab, earrings and a few rings., I have also ordered a bonny doon hammer from Rio Grande so I keep looking for the post man to bring this, I have a list as long as my arm of all the amazing tools that I want from Rio Grande, I would love if we had somewhere in the UK to stock all the tools that America have, Keep popping back to see what I have been up to, Plus if you want please feel free to follow me on Facebook, just hit the Like button at the side of my blog.
Lovely cabochons, the poppy one especially. I'm just learning bezel setting at the mo and am soo slow at it!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will get the hand of it so enough. I only ever did a day course, then where i rented a bench of I did a block of classes, but to be honest I did my own thing at the course as I found other people where wanting to do things that I had learnt myself, I find buying books and learning myself is best.
